Ideally start in the next 2-4 weeks Fully furnished housing provided Return travel provided Up to $82.91/hr (based on exp) Super Plus District Allowance The Location: You will be living in Alice Springs which is the hub of the Northern Territory! The perfect base to explore central Australia from. Nestled between the East and West MacDonnell Ranges, ‘Alice’ is famous for its beautiful desert landscapes, colourful outback characters, opportunities for adventure and a strong Aboriginal culture. The Organisation: You will be working for a fantastic health service based in Central Australia. For over 40 years this health service has provided support and advocacy for Aboriginal people in the struggle for justice and equity. They are now one of the the largest Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation in the Northern Territory, providing a comprehensive, holistic and culturally-appropriate primary health care service to Aboriginal people living in and nearby Alice Springs, including five remote communities. Key Responsibilities Experience in primary health care with an understanding of culturally appropriate Aboriginal men’s health services Ability to work autonomously, manage workload and meet clinical priorities Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Collaborate with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, GPs and allied health staff Deliver culturally safe, respectful and patient-centred care Support outreach clinics and community-based health promotion activities Provide primary health care, including emergency response and chronic disease management Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to infection control standards Qualifications & Certifications Required Current AHPRA registration (no restrictions) ALS, Immunisation Certificate Mandatory REC highly regarded but not essential Manual Driver’s Licence Ochre Card or willingness to obtain Cultural awareness and understanding of Aboriginal health Desirable: iStat If you are interested in this opportunity, please click "Apply Now" or email your CV to kristy@curis.com.au and I will be in touch to discuss this opportunity with you.
